This allows for multi names to be recorded against any given centreline segment. Names could include but not limited to: Route Names, Authorised Names, Operational Names, or Alternative Names.The Route names provides Full and Abbreviated Names which are generated using a specific naming conventions defined by the Road Name Group, which is evaluated as an expression of its parts, such as:- An expression for a Route Name could be: Route Number + Route Alpha + (Body2)- An expression for an Authorised Name could be: Prefix + Body + Type + SuffixIt is expected that Names may contain macrons. A macron is type of special character used for some languages. In the Māori language, a macron is a line that appears over Māori vowels, such as a, e, i, o, u. Example: ā, Ā, ē, Ē, ī, Ī, ō, Ō, ū, Ū.Non-Spatial (aspatial) data is to be provided in UTF-8 format. To support customers of the AMDS Network Model datasets and enable backwards compatibility, additional fields are provided in this dataset that will contain ASCII format data.
